HCG Diet Load Day #1

Today is my first day on the HCG Diet. I am doing the loading day. Eating a lot of food is harder than I thought. I don't eat very much usually and never to the point of feeling full so it's rather uncomfortable.

I got 5,000 IU of HCG and did the mixing myself this morning. I was more nervous about mixing it correctly than giving myself the injection. The injection was SUPER easy! I didn't even feel the needle. Piece of Cake. I can't wait until the week is over to see how much I lost.

I have to eat gluten-free so it limits me on the amount of junk food I can eat. A lot of people eat a lot of junk food on their load days. The original Pounds and Inches study listed mostly good fats to load on. Well, this morning I had 2 eggs, scrambled, a glass of orange juice, 4 pieces of gluten-free french toast with cinnamon, butter and syrup. I was pretty full after that. I'm now eating a whole avacado and a dairy-free/gluten-free dark chocolate bar.

More updates to come!

Celebrities, Oh So Wise

"I don't give a damn that you're 12-years-old or 11-years-old, or a child, or that your mother is a thoughtless pain in the ass who doesn't care about what you do." The irate Baldwin went on to say, "You've made me feel like s**t" and threatened to "straighten your ass out." "This crap you pull on me with this goddamn phone situation that you would never dream of doing to your mother," screamed Baldwin, "and you do it to me constantly over and over again."Before hanging up, Baldwin warned the child, "You better be ready Friday the 20th to meet with me." That's tomorrow. -Source, TMZ.com

This is the rant of Alec Baldwin, famous actor who is also politically active and far left liberal socialist. The media can definitely take things out of context and put a spin on things, but in this case, there is no way to spin it. The message was raw and shows what an emotional bully he can be. Interesting how he rationalizes his outburst on his child by saying that he has been under intense pressure of a long and nasty divorce. It is true that an experience like that can be unbearable, but in the end every person has a choice in their reactions. He has a choice in how he will process that and react.

Supporters of Alec Baldwin say that he is under intense pressure and put his actions aside. This would be somewhat reasonable....I say somewhat because I still think it is completely wrong, but we are all flawed and make mistakes and lose our tempures. However, he has had numorous outbursts in public that showcase his aweful temper and elitism.

It is a joke that he actually believes he could run for some kind of office and actually get voted in. The celebrity world is full of a bunch of people that are far removed from normal society. I find it difficult to want to hear anything they have to say. Although Alec Baldwin does have a BFA in Theatrical Arts, many of these politically outspoken celebrities didn't even finish high school. They have been in front of the camera screen and are obsessed upon by the American public, can we say Idol Worship? I'm sorry, does this mean that these people have a PhD in Social and Economic Development in American society and World Culture? How in the world does actor equal expert on foreign and public policy?

Alec has publically made comments in the past that he would move out of the US if Bush was elected US President. He has also made comments that Dick Cheney is a terrorist and other discusting comments about our U.S. leaders. He doesn't have any tact or right for respect. Nor does he have the brains to know that comments like that, regardless of your political stance are not welcomed by any political party except extreme liberal leftists who will never be elected to run this country.

Alec had a public outburst on the Conan O'Brien Show back in 1998 that was never aired again but can be found on his Wikipedia bio. This outburst was in reference to the Clinton Impeachment trials. He mentioned that if we were in another country that "We would stone Henry Hyde to death" and "kill their wives and their children..."

What the hell? You know what Alec Baldwin? Ironic how you make a comment on what would be done, because In this country if you lived back in the time of our founding fathers you would have been charged with sedition for your hate speach towards our political leaders and would suffer the consequences. Even if Dick Cheney were a leftist liberal I would never call him a terrorist nor would the majority of the American public. I would say that your words are more in line with the actions of a terrorist but then again I would never accuse you of being one. This world is not to be taken lightly in this day and age.

You should move your ass over to Iran. Let's see how long your elitistism and word vomit gets you. You see Mr. Baldwin, it doesn't matter if you agree with terrorists or other nations that dislike our current Administration. You are an American, a privilaged one at that, and they hate you regardless. You are the epidimy of everything they hate. Nothing you do and say could change that. So, I guess you can continue to bite the hand that feeds you because we do believe in free speech. In America even A-holes like you get a voice and apparently your own website. You get to have the last word of course. You shut down your guestbook so that no one that disagrees with you can post there. They only posts on your website are from supporters...hmmm...free speech? I think not. An exercize in censorship on your part. Of course, that would be outragious if it occured in any other venue.

Your days of politics are over with your last outburst to your own child. No one wants someone that will lose their temper and has to apologize for it later. We can't take that chance. President Bush may have his faults but he inherited a lot of crap from the Clinton Administration that none of the news channels will ever air. There is more going on in our world politically than you and I will ever know from our positions. "A fool expresses all his emotions, but a wise person controls them." Proverbs 29:11.

Sadly, the media who seem to be operating through Yellow Journalism these days aren't that reliable for the truth. We live in a world of corporate greed and news mediums are run by large corporations in competition with each other for more ratings and $. What everything boils down to in the corporate world. Something that I learned in my MBA classes and quite frankly I found extremely depressing and alarming. Yet I digress. That is my 20 cents worth.
